My Journey.

I was born the oldest of 7 children in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I immigrated to the United States to join my parents (a nurse and an engineer both from Imo State, Nigeria) in 1980. We lived initially in Bronx, New York then moved to Irvington, New Jersey where I attended Roselle catholic high school.

I understand that life’s challenges are unique and complex to all individuals. As a board certified general surgeon with specialization in breast cancer, I have seen first hand how quickly life can change by throwing us unexpected curveballs.  I’m here to help you live not just a healthy life but your best life. If you’re feeling lost, stressed or overwhelmed, come along with me and let’s journey together to find balance.

I have been a Board certified oncologic breast surgeon and healthy and balanced lifestyle advocate since 2001. I specialize in helping women through one of the most difficult diagnosis that a woman can be given. I take great pride in my knowledge and expertise in this field. I manage this full time work with being a wife to a busy psychiatrist and mother to a daughter in obgyn residency and a son studying biomedical engineering in university. I don’t believe in missing out on anything as life is too short. I balance all aspects of my life to be able to live and enjoy it all to the fullest.
